Karina completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in the fall of 2014. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction from the University of Alberta. Karina has completed courses and certifications for concussion management and prevention, Graston Technique, Functional Dry Needling, McKenzie Part A and is working towards completing her last level 3 manual therapy course. In April of 2019, she completed her Vestibular Rehabilitation training through Duke University and the APTA in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a member of the Blackfalds Physiotherapy Concussion team, whose goal is working toward community awareness for concussion identification and treatment. She plans to continue developing her skills and knowledge in order to best assist her clients’ recovery process.

Originally from Hepburn, SK, Shauna graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Shauna has worked in Canada and the USA in private practice sports and orthopedic clinics since she graduated. Shauna enjoys the active, vibrant feel of Lacombe, and is proud to be a part of this community.

I am originally from small town Saskatchewan. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan (2020). I then completed my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta (2022).
